Agency detail - description

You will find here simple descriptions of all features that you may see in the section Agency detail.

1) Currency - the currency that appears on your TRIP GATE front-end.

2) Time zone - time zone set up for your area.

3) Currency - the currency set up in Galileo. The currency in which search results are displayed. If the currency differs from your default one set in the Galileo GDS, an exchange rate is used. The exchange rate is used to calculate the prices displayed to customers. The original prices remain in the Galileo GDS.

4) Last ticketing day - the date displayed to customers as the maximum date for paying for / issuing e-tickets. It is shown during the booking process and also in booking confirmations.

  • Based on tarif in GDS - set exactly according to fare conditions.

  • Date of booking creation - on the same day when the booking is made.

  • Date of booking creation +1 - the following day after the booking, if the fare conditions don't command a shorter deadline.

  • Date of booking creation +2 up to +6 - see above

! Please note that if GDS has got some shorter time period then set up by you in GOL IBE then Due Date on Ticket itinerary may differ from your setting.

5) Maximum number of requests on multiHAPs - related to the MultiPCC functionality and defines the maximum number of parallel requests that are sent to the GDS per one search request done by the customer (this setting can be changed only by the system admin).

6) Reservation check in GDS - Activation of the robot checking the status of bookings in the GDS. If the agent changes the ticket status through the terminal from Active to Issued/Canceled, this status is changed also in TRIP GATE.

  • The robot runs 4 times a day.

  • This setting can be changed only by the system admin.

7) Start date for check - The date from which active tickets are checked in the GDS. Before the check, the robot prepares a set of bookings between the current date and the date set in the TRIP GATE back office (inclusive). Out of this set, it only checks those bookings for which 48 hours haven't passed yet since the date and time of arrival of the last segment.

  • This setting can be changed only by the system admin.

8) Don't include the surrounding airports in search results - Here you can set whether during a search of flights to a particular airport (eg. LHR) TRIP GATE should include search results also for other airports within the city / parent destination (eg. LON).

9) Host Access Profile - your HAP - connection to Galielo.

You need to configure a MasterGTID and create a robotic GWS sign-on with settings Multiterminal U (Unlimited). With that information ready, request a HAP at API Support. DynGalileoProd or DynGalileoCopy designates whether this the Production or the Copy system.

! This connection is neccessary to be able to turn on automated e-ticketing.

10) Private Fares Account Code - here you may insert your Private Fares Account Code.

11) Custom Check RULA - here you may have inserted your rules for custom check.

12) Pseudo City Code - your agency PCC used for the search and booking.

13) PNR Queue number - this queue number where booking from Galielo go to.

14) PNR Queue Category - queue categories to sort messages.

15) GTID Itinerary printers - ID of printer for itineraries.

! Feature available in higher versions of TRIP GATE only (enhanced and enterprise).

16) GTID Ticket printers - ID of printer for tickets.

17) GTID MIR - printer for MIR file.

BLOCK BOOKINGS - 5 ways when booking is blocked by the system. This section blocks creating such bookings that would difqfer in price or would not be in some way not OK for your clients.

18) Allowed Store price higher than BB maximum of: the limit value of how much the maximum price saved in the booking may be higher than the price returned during the search.

  • Example shows that price may be about 1 CZK higher only.

  • If the limit is exceeded - the booking is not finished and it is canceled in the GDS.

19) Allowed Store price smaller than BB maximum of: the limit value of how much the lowest price saved in the booking may be lower than the price returned during the search.

  • If the limit is exceeded, from customer's perspective the booking is not finished and it is canceled in the GDS.

  • Example shows that price may be about 99999999999.99 CZK smaller.

20) Block bookings without a quote: booking is blocked if pricing is not saved/missing.

21) Block non e-ticketable bookings: booking is not created if not possible to issue a ticket automatically.

22) Block unconfirmed reservation within 5 sec: booking is not created in case Galielo does not confirm it back within 5 seconds.
